DARIEN, Conn. – Darien residents may have been divided over their Super Bowl loyalty to the New England Patriots or the New York Giants. But at Royle Elementary School, fans of the two teams were able to put aside their differences for a little while.
The morning of the Big Game, the Royle Elementary Father’s Council hosted its annual Super Bowl Pancake Breakfast. Dads served up tasty pancakes and sausages while kids enjoyed a raffle and video highlights of great moments in Super Bowl history. Families also donated breakfast foods to the Open Door Shelter in Norwalk.
