DARIEN, Conn. – A Darien gas station was the target of vandals twice in as many days over the weekend when windows were smashed at the station itself and on cars in its parking lot.
The owner of the Five Mile River Road gas station discovered early Saturday that three of the building's windows had been broken with a rock. The front window, a side window and a side door window had all been broken, and the rock was sitting on the floor inside the gas station. Police said the vandal did not enter the station, and nothing was taken.
The next night the owner was driving through the parking lot and saw that two cars had been vandalized. A van and an Audi had their windshields and a couple of side windows smashed with an unknown object.
The cost of the damage in both incidents was not known.

Amy Degirolomo, 35, of Greenwich was arrested Jan. 24 on charges of criminal impersonation and interfering with an officer. Police said Degiloromo was present at an incident officers responded to in early November on Nature’s Way. At that time, she identified herself to officers as Jeana Domizio, though she did not have identification. When police later ran a license check, they found that she was not who she had claimed to be. A warrant was issued for her arrest, and she was taken into custody Jan. 24. She was released on a promise to appear in court Feb. 3 and was turned over to Derby police on a warrant for failure to appear in court.
